We picked Rock Bottom because it had everything we were looking for. It was in the country and provided everything from staying Friday and Saturday night to set up with tables and chairs. My favorite part of the wedding day was that it was fun and easy. I didn’t worry about anything. I would definitely recommend Rock Bottom to others, I loved my experience and wouldn’t have changed a thing.
From the moment we first toured Rock Bottom Pond, it just felt right. The entire team was so welcoming. We chose Rock Bottom Pond due to the natural beauty and beautiful pond view that it offers and how warm and inviting the entire place is. Another huge factor was that so much was already included, like the tables, linens, and other essentials, which made wedding planner so much less stressful.
It is so hard to choose my favorite part of our wedding day at Rock Bottom Pond, but I have to say it was sharing our private vows while holding hands on the corner of the house overlooking the pond before the ceremony. It gave us the perfect moment together away from everyone to slow down, soak it all in, and focus on each other before all the excitement began. It is a memory we will cherish forever.
If you’re considering Rock Bottom Pond, DO NOT HESITATE. While the venue is absolutely beautiful, the experience is what makes it so special. The scenery, the layout, the welcoming atmosphere, and the amazing team that Rock Bottom Pond has to offer made our wedding day everything we hoped it would be. We are so grateful we chose Rock Bottom Pond, and we would make the same decision all over again.
We honestly can’t think of anything that would have made our experience better. From the planning to wedding day, Rock Bottom Pond exceeded all of our expectations. Everything was so well organized and the team was so supportive. We would not have changed a thing!
We chose Rock Bottom because of the warm feeling we had as soon as we stepped on the property. As soon as we pulled in my husband literally said “this is the place.” He just had that feeling!
My favorite part of the day was actually the atmosphere! Every single person at the wedding had a smile on their faces and was just having so much fun. Getting to stay in the house the night before and after was also an amazing experience. Being able to wake up and just soak in the experience with my girls and then my husband after the wedding is something I’ll remember forever!
I would tell other couples that it’s beautiful and everyone who works there will make your experience perfect. Everyone was truly amazing and I would choose Rock Bottom every single time.
Everything was absolutely perfect! We had to use the rain plan and even that was such a beautiful spot for the ceremony. Having a back up plan right at the venue was such a convenience. Rock Bottom was truly amazing and we’re so grateful we got to get married there. We will forever cherish the memories we made there.
Close friends of ours had their rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception here. Rock Bottom was so beautiful and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The Man Cave for the groom and the groomsmen is probably the coolest part of the venue. The pond is a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and the fountain was lit up all during the reception making for great pictures for guests. If you're in the Columbia area, I highly suggest checking out this venue.
We absolutely loved Rock Bottom Pond! We got to have our dream wedding here, it was nothing short of amazing!💖 They have the prettiest house for the Bride and bridesmaids to get ready in, with three bedrooms and also a man cave that was an absolute hit with the Groom and groomsmen! So many of our guests complimented the venue and how pretty it was, the landscaping is so so beautiful you dont even need to add anything! The reception area is elegant and has plenty of space for guest! I would 10/10 recommend this venue to any and everyone, you will not be disappointed!
Not only are the owners the nicest, most helpful people we could have asked for on our special day, but their venue is absolutely beautiful. Wedding planning is extremely stressful, but Donna had me at ease every step of the way. There was a threat of rain during our outdoor wedding, and while thankfully that didn’t happen they were able to offer us a backup option just incase. We looked at many venues before getting to Rock Bottom Pond, and none of them compared with the beautiful location, let alone the rates for everything included. We can not thank Rock Bottom Pond enough for their kindness and for making our wedding a dream come true!

Do yourself a favor and make your wedding planning easy - book Rock Bottom Pond. Dona and George are the consummate host and hostess and will see to every detail of the big day. Having been to a wedding there before, my daughter knew the atmosphere and celebratory tone the beautiful grounds and venue would create. We planned the event from long distance and every vendor Dona recommended went above and beyond to make planning easy and pull off the perfect wedding for us. And don't hesitate to have the ceremony on the patio for rain or heat - it was gorgeous and our guests were comfortable, The fountain and lush green back drop is simply picture perfect. I can't say enough about working with Rock Bottom Pond; I'm just trying to find a reason to host there again!
Really nice place. Great place for gatherings and pictures with them, lots of senic views. Even have a few animals. Also, nice area away from parking lots for kids to play safely.
